Soccer on sunday

This Sunday is going to be awesome for the football teams!
Both our teams are going to play at home (Vadgård Skole, Kong Hans Allé), where the men’s team start at 16.00 with a rivalry game against POP, and right after this game (17.45), then are the girls going to play against Robert Jacobsen Kollegiet.
There will be possibility to grill, so there can be a minor barbeque party, and when we are finished eating and watching football, then Kældercaféen has open, so the party can continue at home.

There will be a short interruption on the internet connection 2013-04-22 at 12 PM, because K-Net will be restarting equipment.
Unstable internet 18/2 23:00 – 01:00

K-Nets internet service provider DeIC are having a service window this afternoon (monday 18/2 2013) between 23:00 and 01:00 as they need to change an important component.
The connection will not necessarily be down for the entire periode, but may be on and off.

The internet on the LAN (cable) is either unstable or down.
The WiFi seems to work fine.

Downtime for all K-Net systems

Since K-Net’s systems needs to be restarted everybody will experiences down time arround 1:00 to night.
K-Net cannot postpone the restart, otherwise the system will be in total crash by morning.
Technicalities:
The error have been found and by restarting the systems, it is hoped that the memory leak causing the trouble will be removed.
The memory leak is caused by the setup of FW2 (old system) and it is hoped that this workaround can be closed down asap.

We are working on locating the error and making sure it will not happen again soon
We suspect the error was at K-Net somewhere, since the WiFi did work properly and the “old” system did not have any downtime.

As many noticed, K-Net had trouble and the internet was down until 11 PM instead of 5 PM last Monday. They apologize.
Tomorrow Friday at around 3 PM there will be another interruption. This time a lot shorter they say. They estimate it to be around 30 minutes.
